Nihiwatu, Sumba, Indonesia
Lapopu waterfall is one of the most beautiful one-day excursion destinations in Sumba, for the resort’s guests, I was there with a group when this local kid climbed up and jumped. Fortunately, I was able to capture him on a dark background as the sunlight hit his body.
As I saw it coming, on a hurry to change settings and pre-focus, I accidentally overturned the speed dial ending up with an unnecessary speed of 1/4000 which forced the ISO to raise a bit too high – Still better than missing the shot. The f/8 was there already and I also didn’t have time to change it.
