Kampong Khleang, Siem Reap, Cambodia
An afternoon walk on Kampong Khleang, a fishing village on Tonle Sap lake, near Siem Reap. People here burn the plastic waste in the afternoon. Not a good healthy habit, but the only way to deal with it, in a small island on the big lake. Kids were playing in the street, creating this interesting effect. Yes, there are some lens’s ghosts, but who cares?!
Point and shoot, really! Just a bit of desaturation and added contrast and clarity on post. Can’t stress it too much: the most important thing in photography is being on the place with a camera.
